When Making Decisions a Challenge

I may not know your situation but I know the following tips can help you decide well.

1. Study the situation well.
You cannot just decide right away. This is not a simple conversation that when you say yes, everything will just turn in the right place. What if saying yes is wrong? What if your decision now can give you another bigger things to decide in a more complicated situation? Studying the situation will not cost much time, in fact, it will save you from a wrong one which could possibly waste your time.

2. Weigh your plan.
Sometimes the heavier it gets, the lesser burden it will be when you let go of it. If it's light in the heart, know better if its lightness brings peace now and in the future. Making a heavy decision is not a problem, the problem is, how are you gonna live your life after you decide.

3. Consider the people involved.
No putting others down. If you decide to breathe alone, I'm telling you, you cannot breathe alone. Make a decision that enable others to live in peace and harmony as well. Better talk with the people involve. Talking in a gentle manner can help you be free and less burdened. Explained to them your decision for maybe they have better options which you may consider.

4. Trust in God.
Know that you cannot make things better alone. Acknowledge that there is a divine being greater than you. Trust Him that He will enlighten your mind and guard your heart when the decision you're about to choose is still unclear. Trust Him that He will direct you to the right path.

5. Pray even harder.
Sometimes we simply say "Amen" even without a heart that really shouts, "Amen". If things are not clear, pray some more. Be more vocal and specific to God. Be patient. There is a right time for everything. Prayer can give you strength and increase your hope.

6. If you have multiple plans, stick to what is the most Biblical.
Many will disagree with this, but accept it that the Bible says what is proper. It supports life, peace, joy, love, dignity, integrity and a lot more. Having these good things in life is beyond amazing. We know that sometimes are preoccupied by a lot of things and a lot of suggestions from friends or even from strangers, we might forget what's right. The Bible can help you. Trust God.

7. Choose a solution wherein God can be more glorified.
We don't exist to please people but God. We don't exist to satisfy ourselves for whenever we tried to satisfy our own desire, we always end up wanting more. Involve God in your decision and choose Him among others. Because if God will not be pleased, you cannot please yourself as well as others. If you choose to please God, everything will just fall in the right place.

8. Create a great testimony.
In this life, we are not simply collecting memories and making a journey, we are creating rich testimonies. The way we live our life is a testimony of who we are. Inspire others. share God's favor, know that there are many. Let goodness prevails. Be a mirror of God in everything.

Making decision is a test of strength and a measure of faith. Be victorious! Remember that the life you live is not just about you, it's your love to others, its giving God all the glory. Live well. Decide well.

In the name of Jesus, I declare victory in all your decisions!
Amen!
